All projects regardless of their size start with an assessment meeting to define the scope of the project. At this time we define what features will be included and what the main goals of the website will be. At this time we can discuss realistic expectations and define what is aspects are must and what features are best saved for future development.

After understanding the scale and features of your site will put together a simple quote for your project. At this time I will also give you an estimated timeline of when your can expect your site to be completed. With well-defined milestones to ensure we stay on track. This phase may be combined with the first if your website needs are simple enough.

Depending on how well defined your vision is or isn't, we begin the process of looking at other websites that align with the goals of your website and your stylistic liking. Depending on how much you want to be involved this phase may vary. If you are more hands on, I will assign you with the task of choosing three sites you really like, with a summary of what about each site you like and dislike. Or if you are pressed for time or need help getting started I will select three sites that I feel would met your needs, based on the previous phase discussions.

At this point we will make a choice on which site(s) meet your needs best. Or we will take the best aspects of a couple of websites and create a compilation that utilizes all of your favorite aspects. We then brand this design with your colors and logo to create a visual mock up. This mock up will be sent for client review and feedback. At which point these review points will be implemented on the mock up and again reviewed. This process of refinement continues until we get everything just right.

At this time we have all that we need to bring your mockup to web implementation. We create database structure and install the add-ons getting your site one more step closer to live. At this time we finalize the site map and set guidelines for content (both images and text) needs on each page of that site map. Once we get all of your content we populate the site and provide feedback and refinement to the content.

During this phase polish the site until it shines. We ensure all aspects function as anticipated and begin to cross browser check your site. We review the site for any misalignment or inconsistencies to insure a consistent user experience for every visitor.

Finally we sit back down and give you the keys to site. With an hour and half training you will have all of the tools to manage your site. After all who's to say that your website should be static. These changes help to drive return traffic and customize your offerings to meet the seasonal demands of your customers.

Now before you tell your tech challenged, know the Joomla framework and the built in editor is as easy to use as Microsoft word. Once you can find the contents location you can easily make the changes you want.
